Mrs. V’s Roadhouse began a new chapter in 2024 when Veronica Coats and her husband purchased the restaurant. Originally opened around 2020 as Willie’s Barbecue Hamburgers, the restaurant was rebranded in November 2025 as Mrs. V’s Roadhouse to create its own identity in the Vidor community.
From Sonora To Texas
Veronica Coats is originally from Sonora, Mexico, and brings a unique business background to the restaurant. Before entering the restaurant industry, she spent about 30 years running seafood-processing businesses in Mexico, with five plants across several states. Mrs. V’s Roadhouse is her first restaurant venture.
